Overview

Join to apply for the Claims Management Officer role at IAG. RACQ helps over 1.7 million members live and move safely, securely and sustainably into the future. From September 2025, RACQ's insurance arm began a long-term strategic alliance with IAG. This is a permanent, full-time role based in Meanjin (Brisbane – Eight Mile Plains) with hybrid working arrangements outside onboarding and training periods.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Take end-to-end ownership of claims, including lodgement, for cases ranging from straightforward to moderately complex.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with partners to ensure a smooth and seamless claims experience.
  • Work within a supportive environment with clear career progression and leadership development pathways.

Work Hours & Availability

  • 8.5-hour shift schedule, between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
  • Weekend availability is required from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Start Date: 3 November 2025

About You / Qualifications
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-centric mindset
  • Confident communicator with empathy and fairness in tough conversations
  • Thrives in fast-paced settings, managing high volumes of requests while staying organized
  • Proficiency in MS Office
