How you create impact

You will be part of the Air Logistics team, applying your leadership expertise and warehouse skills to deliver operational excellence. Your primary objective is to supervise the warehouse team and manage the throughput of customer products, while fostering a safe working environment.

What we would like you to bring

  • Responsibility for the performance of the allocated air logistics depot/warehouse (AW) site, including warehouse operations, office operations, and information systems.
  • Compliance with department and Kuehne & Nagel regulations.
  • Experience in airline handling and operations.
  • Monitoring and supervising the performance of subcontractors associated with warehousing functions.
  • Acting as a focal point to support and resolve operational disputes over arrivals and claims.
  • Overseeing the selection, development, and motivation of warehouse employees, ensuring equitable work distribution.
  • Connecting with staff and subcontractors, monitoring performance, and ensuring careful handling of customer products while adhering to health and safety procedures inside the warehouse.
  • Achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensuring team delivery against KPIs.
  • Executing operational tasks safely and in compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborating with QSHE to adhere to safety procedures and minimize property and safety losses.
  • Managing continuous improvement projects for the site.

Requirements:

  • Initial experience in decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a similar position is highly desirable.
  • Valid Driver's License and Forklift License.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Supervisory skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Openness to change and continuous improvement efforts to enhance processes and customer satisfaction.
