A critical role exists for an Air Logistics Warehouse Export Supervisor, serving as a key member of the Air Logistics team. This pivotal position will focus on optimizing processes and ensuring efficient movement of inventory and shipments.
The supervisor will oversee warehouse operations, manage throughput of customer products, and maintain a safe working environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring site performance aligns with expectations, encompassing warehouse operations, office operations, and information systems.
- Preparing reports in compliance with departmental and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in airline handling and operations is highly beneficial.
- Maintaining close monitoring and supervision of subcontractor performance associated with warehousing functions.
- Serving as a focal point to support and resolve operational disputes over arrivals and claims.
- Overseeing employee selection, professional development, and motivation within the warehouse setting, ensuring equitable work distribution.
- Engaging with staff and subcontractors, assessing performance, and guaranteeing careful handling of customer products while adhering to health and safety protocols within the warehouse.
- Executing operational tasks with utmost care and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Collaborating with Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment (QSHE) teams to minimize property loss and ensure workplace safety.
- Driving continuous improvement projects at the site level.
Initial experience in decision-making and problem-solving skills is required. Holding a valid Driver's License and Forklift License is also necessary. Additionally, proficiency in verbal and written communication skills, supervisory skills, and a team-oriented mindset are expected. The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders is crucial. Furthermore, openness to change and continuous improvement efforts to enhance processes and customer satisfaction are highly valued.
