The Role

MTTES provides Electronic Warfare (EW) Training Range services to the ADF in Queensland and the Northern Territory, and other deployed locations. The MTTES Senior Supply Support Manager is responsible for performing, managing, and is held accountable for material logistics services for MTTES. Duties will include:

  • Address complex problems and mitigate risks and issues that would otherwise cause delays and significant expenditure of resources.
  • Perform material management planning and scheduling.
  • Inventory management, including maintaining stock levels at locations and ensuring the integrity of material control data and inventory management system data.
  • Manage delivery and supplies of approved material subcontractors.

This role requires regular travel to Amberley, Toowoomba, Delamere NT and various other locations to support operations.

Working from the Raytheon Australia office in Amberley QLD. Toowoomba QLD will also be considered.

The Person
  • Experience managing a small to mid-sized team consisting of experienced professionals and leading, directing and reviewing the work of a team who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments.
  • Experience communicating with parties within and outside of own work area, which may include external customers or vendors.
  • Advanced understanding of warehousing, inventory, freight and distribution procedures and systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of fleet management and disposal processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of key performance indicator measurement and reporting.
  • Advanced knowledge of material management planning and development.
  • Advanced knowledge of supply support optimisation and efficiencies.
  • Practical knowledge of import and export operations.
  • Practical knowledge of contracts.
