Logistics Professional

This role supports the Total Logistics Support Contract to maintain the F414 Engines. Based in Ipswich, QLD, you'll be part of a team dedicated to delivering high-quality logistics and supply chain solutions while driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating inventory reports across multiple tools
  • Analysing inventory levels and supporting engine production by collaborating with stakeholders
  • Responding to customer inventory demands and coordinating requests and transportation
  • Tracking and monitoring repair items to ensure program forecasts are met
  • Coordinating international shipments, including customs clearance and delivery to domestic warehouses
  • Tracking freight movements and resolving any issues or delays
  • Working with sub-contractors to meet customer assurance and compliance standards
  • Driving process improvements and implementing strategies to manage and optimize supply chain inventory levels.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of prior experience in logistics ideally covering imports and distribution
  • Australian Citizen at time of application
  • Possession of an Australian Defence Security Clearance – Baseline essential, NV1 preferable.
  • Skilled in ERP/SAP tracking systems. Knowledge of Defence Logistics advantageous however not essential.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities as well as excellent conflict resolution skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including proficiency in using pivot tables, charts and graphs, knowledge of commonly used formulas, familiarity with conditional formatting and the ability to perform basic data analysis tasks
