About HESRI

At Health Evidence Synthesis, Recommendations and Impact (HESRI), we work with groups to develop trustworthy evidence and recommendations for impact on policy, practice, and decision-making. We have specialist expertise in systematic reviews, guideline development, and evidence implementation.

Our team are expert methodologists and research specialists who are internationally recognised in the fields of trustworthy guideline development, evidence synthesis, systematic (and scoping) review conduct, implementation science, knowledge translation, consumer engagement and the co-creation of knowledge. HESRI is located within the School of Public Health, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Adelaide.

Role

We are seeking a Senior Administrative Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Director, HESRI, you will provide high level support for the research activities of HESRI. Your responsibilities will include a range of administrative and financial tasks, supporting HESRI's research priorities. Additionally, you will be responsible for outreach communications, including managing websites, social media, publications, and coordinating events.

To be successful you will need
  • Proven experience in an administrative role with excellent organisational and time management skills including the ability to prioritise work and work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work collegially as part of a team and with a wide range of stakeholder groups, particularly external clients.
  • Solid experience in supporting financial activities, including the managing of budgets, purchase orders, contractor management and activity reporting.
  • Experience in website management.
  • Experience in organising and managing events
  • Strong communication skills including verbal, written and report writing skills.
  • Well-developed computer skills including intermediate to advanced level experience in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
