About the role

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead the timely delivery of key programs and ensure optimal performance at our Tullamarine Depot. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact while working alongside senior leaders to foster team growth, build strong relationships, and drive success.

Some Key Responsibilities include

• Become part of the Leadership Team and act as the Senior Leader to8 direct reports and a diverse field workforce of over 100 employees and by consistently delivering messaging in relation to safety, team work and culture.
• Delivering the highest possible safety standards by conducting leadership walks in the field, reviewing and improving works practices and ensuring field staff have the appropriate fleet, tools and equipment.
• Maintain a consistent presence at the Tullamarine depot to ensure visible leadership and a path for issue escalation is available to the wider team.
• Managing personnel in accordance with Zinfra policies, ensuring only personnel with appropriate skills and qualifications are employees/ assigned to carry out required tasks.
• Optimising performance of the Overhead and Underground Distribution teams by identifying efficiencies in scheduling, resource allocation and business processes.
• Taking accountability for the financial performance of the program which the field workforce delivers by working closely with peers in the Leadership Team.
• Maintain positive Industrial Relations interactions and show leadership in dealing with union related issues.

About You

• Proven ability to drive a safety culture and implement improved safety processes, systems & programs to ensure the effective delivery of work
• An understanding of Victorian Electrical Distribution Networks and VESI requirements
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to develop and maintain strong client relationships
• Effective cost centre management within approved budget guidelines.This will also require the sharing and allocation of resources for capital projects and the achievement of the CAPEX & OPEX targets
• Demonstrated competency in utilisation of resources and match the capability and capacity of the workforce and physical resources for the delivery of issued work.
• Experience in planning and strategy.
• Proven experience managing field teams.
