About the Role

We're on the hunt for a skilled Installation Technician to join our growing team at West Crane Services — Victoria's leading name in crane and hoist systems. In this hands-on role, you'll be front and centre in delivering major installations, overhauls, upgrades and commissioning of overhead cranes and hoists across a wide range of industries and sites.


What You'll Be Doing
  • Installing overhead cranes, hoists, runways and structural systems
  • Overhauling and upgrading existing crane systems and components
  • Commissioning new systems and performing factory/site acceptance testing
  • Working from engineering drawings and electrical schematics
  • Collaborating with internal teams, project managers and clients
  • Taking ownership of installations from start to finish
  • Ensuring all work meets Australian Standards and site safety requirements

What We're Looking For
  • A-Grade Victorian Electrical Licence (essential)
  • Strong mechanical/electrical installation experience
  • Background in overhead cranes, hoists or heavy industrial equipment
  • Ability to interpret drawings and work to detailed specifications
  • Strong leadership, initiative, and attention to detail
  • Current driver's licence
  • EWP and Working at Heights tickets preferred
  • Dogging/Rigging licence a big plus
