About the Role

As a Manager in the Tax & Business Services division, you will oversee a portfolio of clients and lead a team of accountants. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality outcomes for clients, providing strategic advice, and supporting the professional development of your team. This is a leadership role with responsibility for client management, technical oversight, and contributing to the broader strategic direction of the firm.

• Leading client engagements across bookkeeping, accounting, reporting, and advisory services
• Providing timely and accurate tax and business advisory solutions
• Mentoring and developing a team of accountants (6–10 staff within a division of 30+)
• Reviewing and resolving complex accounting and compliance matters
• Driving operational improvements and process efficiencies
• Contributing to business development and client relationship initiatives
• Collaborating with peers and directors in a flat, team-based environment

Skills and Experience

We're looking for an experienced professional with:

• CA/CPA qualification and a minimum of 6+ years in public practice
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax legislation and accounting standards
• Proven ability to manage complex client portfolios
• Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and grow a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A commercially minded, proactive approach with strong problem-solving ability
• A collaborative and ethical work style, aligned with a supportive and non-hierarchical culture
