Abergeldie is a majority locally owned infrastructure contractor with over 30 years' experience delivering projects across a variety of sectors, including water, utilities, bridges and roads, community infrastructure, rail and energy. The complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.

About the ABK team

The ABK Joint Venture (Abergeldie, BMD and KBR) is one of two delivery partners leading South East Water's landmark $1.5 billion capital works program. This 10-year contract will see ABK plan and deliver major infrastructure upgrades as part of a new integrated capital works planning and delivery model.

With the program now in full swing, our team is delivering a diverse portfolio of works, from the $72 million Dingley Recycled Water Scheme to various renewals packages, pump station and storage upgrades, aerator and chlorinator improvements, floating cover installations, and early works across multiple sites.

About the opportunity

As our pipeline of works continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of water, sewer, and pipeline projects from tender through to handover. Based at our Dingley office, you will work across projects throughout Melbourne's South East.

In this role, you will manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality. You will lead site teams, manage subcontractors, and take ownership of commercial performance, including forecasting, cost control, and reporting. Building strong client and supplier relationships, you will drive collaboration, manage risks, and deliver on contractual commitments, while finding practical solutions that add value for clients.

What you'll bring to the team

• Track record of successfully delivering complex water, sewer, and pipeline projects.
• Proven capability in leading, developing, and motivating high-performing project teams.
• Commercially astute with strong program management skills, driving projects to achieve time, cost, and quality targets.
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement and negotiation, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
• Unwavering commitment to safety.
