Role Overview:

As the Accommodation & Hospitality Manager, you will oversee the guest journey from check-in to check-out, driving performance, compliance, and team culture. You will manage departmental operations, lead high-performing teams, and shape the hotel's strategic direction. You will also lead VIP arrivals, handle special guest requirements, and ensure staff are trained to deliver recognition, personal attention, and professionalism.

Operations:

  • Lead communication during emergencies or crises
  • Represent the hotel in the local community and support sustainability initiatives
  • Promote a safe environment for guests and staff
  • Inspect public areas and rooms to maintain quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards
  • Manage payroll costs and support budget and forecast processes
  • Maintain security procedures in collaboration with the Loss Prevention Team

Leadership:

  • Lead, coach, and develop Front Office and Concierge teams
  • Plan work schedules and ensure appropriate staffing and colleague development
  • Drive employee engagement through recognition and feedback
  • Support HR functions such as recruitment, training, and performance management

About You:

  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with multitasking abilities
  • Passionate about exceeding guest satisfaction
  • Maintain excellent personal presentation and grooming standards
  • Possess strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Be a logical thinker with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible with working hours and shifts
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with Opera, Birchstreet, and Emplive systems
