Join to apply for the STAND-ALONE PAYROLL OFFICER role at Absolute Payroll.
What You'll Do- Take sole ownership of end-to-end payroll processes for approximately 300 employees.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams; audit and manage payroll and timekeeping systems with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
- Flexibility & Balance: Work from home 1–2 days a week, flexible hours within a 38-hour week, and four additional paid Wellbeing Days each year.

- 5+ years' experience managing end-to-end payroll and confident in running the payroll department for 300+ employees.
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
- Solid understanding of multi-state payroll requirements, awards, legislation, and taxation.
- Confidence in auditing and managing payroll and timekeeping systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with HR, Finance, and other teams.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement.
