We are looking for our next Full-Time Night Duty Manager to join the ibis Styles team.

Responsibilities

As Night Duty Manager, you will oversee all operations during the night shift, ensuring the smooth running of the hotel and a safe, sound, and exceptional guest journey from night until morning.

  • Manager on duty for the hotel, including check-ins, check-outs and guest enquiries
  • Perform night audit functions, ensuring proper balancing of hotel revenues in rooms and food & beverage
  • Handle guest concerns and react quickly, coordinating with proper departments to guarantee memorable moments for our guests
  • Ensure the safety of guests throughout the night
Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Full Australian Working Rights - this role is not available for sponsorship
  • Service-focused personality and the love of working through the night is essential
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including a 7-day roster, weekends and public holidays; shift hours are 11pm – 7am
  • Good understanding of finance and accounting practices
  • Extensive knowledge of Front Office operations – essential
  • Prior experience working with Opera Cloud or a related system
  • Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
  • Multi-tasker, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage conflicting priorities
  • Ability to lead by example and foster a strong team culture
