McCosker are looking for an organised and proactive person with knowledge and experience in HR and recruitment administration. This is an opportunity to participate in on-the-job development with an HR/IR specialist to further your experience and skills. The role includes participating in:

  1. workforce planning
  2. recruitment and interviews
  3. onboarding and inductions
  4. interacting with leaders at all levels
  5. reporting and contributing to operational meetings
  6. building knowledge of awards, enterprise agreement, NES
  7. involvement in other HR/IR initiatives and programs.

You are supported to work individually and in a team environment to deliver exceptional outcomes, while maintaining a safe and productive culture and having a positive impact on the community in which we operate.

What we are looking for

  1. Previous administration experience in HR and recruitment
  2. Great communication skills, including verbal and written
  3. Able to follow instructions and ask questions
  4. Desire to learn and seek to understand tasks to build expertise
  5. Use initiative to escalate issues and work as a team to solve problems
  6. Great organisational skills and self-motivated in the completion of tasks
  7. Good eye for detail with high accuracy
  8. Confidentially handle sensitive and private information
  9. Treat all people fairly and with respect
