The Position

A rare opportunity is available for an accomplished and passionate medical leader to step into the role of Divisional Director – Women's & Children's Services. This senior leadership position will provide strategic direction, operational oversight, and clinical leadership across maternity, paediatric, and related services. The successful candidate will inspire multidisciplinary teams, champion evidence-based care, and drive innovation in service delivery to ensure the highest standard of outcomes for women, children, and families.

As the major referral centre for the region, this health service provides a wide range of specialist care, including surgical, medical, oncology, emergency, paediatrics, maternity, and rehabilitation services. Essential Criteria

  • MBBS (or equivalent) with current AHPRA registration.
  • Fellowship of RANZCOG or RACP, with substantial experience in Obstetrics or Paediatrics.
  • Demonstrated leadership of clinical programs or services at a senior level.
  • Strong ability to lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent clinical communication, integrity, and professionalism.
