Arctech Sydney Pty Ltd is an Australian owned company dealing with renewable energy, and are now seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join their Sydney, NSW team.

The Role

This role is required on a full-time basis with an annual salary of $190,000 plus superannuation, and will be based in Sydney, NSW.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
• Prepare and deliver tailored technical presentations, proposals, bids, and detailed sales quotations to secure projects.
• Maintain a competitor intelligence database of projects, products, and supply chain information, providing management with actionable insights on market trends and customer needs to refine sales strategies.
• Work with clients to interpret project requirements and design optimized tracker layouts considering boundaries, topography, and environmental constraints.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop tailored solutions meeting project specifications.
• Compile and review technical documentation, procedures, and engineering details during bidding and proposal stages.
• Assist in preparing project drawings, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high technical quality.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and contracted drafting services, to ensure timely and precise project documentation.
• Review and update drawings and documentation based on client feedback to continually improve quality.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and project partners to resolve technical queries, clarify design assumptions, and support smooth project execution.
• Maintain clear communication channels with stakeholders throughout project delivery.
• Report to management on sales activities, customer feedback, and project outcomes.
• Recommend product and process improvements based on field experience and client insights.
• Perform additional technical sales and support duties as required to contribute to overall business growth and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
  
  

The Requirements

• At least a Bachelor Degree in Business or in a relevant field,
• Minimum of 5 years in a similar role in a commercial capacity
• Minimum of 5 years of experience selling technical renewable energy products to commercial and industrial clients.
• Minimum of 5 years of expertise in the technical specifications, applications, and performance parameters of renewable technologies and grid-tied/off-grid systems.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing key accounts, nurturing long-term relationships with energy consultants, project developers, or procurement officers.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience preparing custom proposals, project scopes, and ROI analyses aligned with client energy needs
• Minimum of 5 years experience negotiating contracts and closing deals with procurement managers, warehouse operators, or project contractors
• Strong customer service orientation and commitment service delivery.
• Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work efficiently, accurately with meticulous attention to detail.
