Provide a customer-focused service to staff and patients whilst ensuring that all inpatients are assessed and classified with regard to their financial classification (holder of private health insurance, MVA, DVA, worker's compensation, ineligible overseas visitors, defence force personnel, police force serving members, etc.).

Actively promote and market to encourage conversion of patients with private health insurance from non-chargeable to chargeable status. Liaise with appropriate areas to ensure that patient billing information is obtained promptly to meet Revenue Department requirements. This position significantly contributes to increasing revenue for the organisation.
