Research Topic and Significance
The focus of this postdoctoral position is the systematic evaluation of the safety of multi-agent systems powered by large language models (LLMs) and vision-language models (VLMs). This includes evaluating the quality of interactions between agents, identifying potential attack surfaces, and developing robust defensive mechanisms to ensure the safe deployment of complex AI systems. Candidate Profile
Ideal Applicants Will Possess The Following Attributes
– A PhD (or near completion) in Machine Learning or a closely related discipline.
– Demonstrated knowledge of agentic systems powered by LLMs or VLMs.
– Experience or strong interest in safety evaluation, adversarial attacks, or defensive mechanisms in AI systems.
– Ability to manage independent academic research and associated activities.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
– A proactive and innovative mindset, eager to tackle emerging challenges in multi-agent AI safety.
