About The TeamThe Individual Giving team sits within Cancer Council SA's Fundraising unit, working alongside Events and Philanthropy to maximise impact across all income streams. We deliver appeals, regular giving, Giving Day and face-to-face acquisition programs, engaging thousands of South Australians to support cancer research, prevention and support services. Together with our colleagues in fundraising, marketing, digital and data we ensure a coordinated, donor-centred approach that helps drive Cancer Council SA's mission.
About The RoleAs Individual Giving Manager (Parental Leave Cover), you will be responsible for leading and growing Cancer Council SA's Individual Giving portfolio. This includes appeals, regular giving, mid-value and donor acquisition programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard. You will drive strategies that maximise donor acquisition, engagement and retention, with a focus on building long-term loyalty and income growth.
Reporting to the Unit Manager Fundraising, you will provide leadership to the Individual Giving team and collaborate across Fundraising, Marketing, Digital and Data teams to create seamless, donor-centric supporter journeys. You will also play a key role in monitoring performance, analysing donor behaviour, and identifying opportunities for innovation to strengthen campaign results.

Skills and ExperiencesAbout You
You are a strategic fundraiser and people leader with experience delivering successful individual giving programs. You bring strong commercial acumen and a donor-centric mindset, with the ability to grow revenue and inspire loyalty. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience leading a high-performing team, ideally in a fundraising environment
- Strong knowledge of individual giving, appeals and regular giving programs, with proven success in growing revenue
- Excellent project management, data analysis and evaluation skills, with the ability to deliver campaigns on time and on budget
- High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across teams and external partners
- Commercial acumen in setting, analysing and achieving budgets
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field
This role is a full-time parental leave cover (12 months) and offers the opportunity to lead a passionate team while making a meaningful difference in the lives of South Australians impacted by cancer.
