Overview

Loans Coordinator role at Ramsay Health Care – Wollongong Private Hospital.

The Opportunity: We are seeking a Loans Coordinator to join our Sterilisation Team at Wollongong Private Hospital. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating all loaned Reusable Medical Devices, including ensuring the care, handling and reprocessing of these devices. This role is a critical part of the sterilising process and you will work within your team to meet the needs of the perioperative team. Reporting to the CSSD Manager, you will be part of an efficient and supportive professional team to assist the perioperative team to deliver the best care for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all loaned Reusable Medical Devices, including care, handling and reprocessing.
  • Support the sterilisation process and collaborate with the perioperative team.
Qualifications
  • Certificate III qualification in Sterilising Services.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience working in a Sterilising Unit.
  • Strong interest in mentoring and development of staff.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required.
  • Strong attention to detail and process improvement orientation.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Highly effective time management and customer service skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the principles behind AS 5369:2023.
Desirable
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs (Excel in particular).
  • Completion and attainment of Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace Training.

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
