An exciting opportunity exists to join Western Health's Automated Medication Dispensing Solutions implementation project team. This position will work closely with the Senior Project Manager – ADS to deliver an electronic medication management system at New Footscray Hospital.

You will be a qualified pharmacist, ideally with medication safety experience. You will participate in an organization-wide project to implement Automated Medication Dispensing cabinets at Western Health. This is a fixed-term, full-time position until 31st October 2025, primarily based at Footscray Hospital.

Key responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Providing expertise on Pharmacy workflows
  • Supporting ADS system design decisions through information gathering
  • Reviewing current workflows
  • Creating and validating future workflows
  • Assisting with testing
  • Evaluating workflow changes
  • Developing and conducting training and change management activities
  • Commissioning cabinets and other operational readiness tasks
  • Communicating effectively with clinicians
