About the RoleThis is a 12-month casual position, based in Sydney (various locations available). This role requires full availability, including weekends and public holidays, as the roads we manage operate 24/7.

Key Responsibilities- Monitor traffic flow and respond to incidents using ITS, CCTV, and other systems
- Coordinate with emergency services and dispatch response crews
- Operate key systems including ventilation, drainage, and fire panels
- Communicate updates via Variable Message Signs and digital platforms
- Log incidents accurately and escalate issues as needed
- Support training, mentoring, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong communication skills in high-pressure environments
- Sound decision-making and situational awareness
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Ability to complete structured training and assessments
- Experience in traffic operations or emergency response coordination (preferred)
