Network Operations Centre Engineers are integral to the reliability, stability and performance of our services. This pivotal role involves continuous monitoring of network operations, prompt response to incidents and efforts to optimize overall network efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring network infrastructure and services for optimal performance, availability and stability.
  • Swiftly responding to alerts, assessing event severity and taking appropriate action to resolve issues.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving network-related incidents within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Escalating unresolved or critical incidents to higher-level support teams as required.
  • Maintaining open communication with stakeholders and customers regarding incident updates and resolutions.
  • Providing accurate incident tracking tool updates.
  • Collaborating with relevant teams to reduce the likelihood of recurring incidents.
  • Assisting with network maintenance, upgrades and planned changes to minimize operational impact.
  • Ensuring adherence to change control procedures and risk assessment before implementation.
  • Maintaining and updating documentation related to operational processes, incident resolution and troubleshooting methods.
