Darling Range Sports College (DRSC), an Independent Public School, is seeking an innovative and enthusiastic HASS Teacher to inspire students, engage in curriculum and strive for excellence, with a focus on Explicit Instruction (EI). The College emphasises the 5Ps: Proud, Polite, Prepared, Punctual and Productive, and offers specialist sports programs and enrichment opportunities across the curriculum. The School is located approximately 15 km east of the Perth city centre in the foothills, and is a Positive Behaviour School that supports safe, positive learning environments.
The state's only Sports College provides programs in AFL, Athletics, Baseball, Basketball, Netball, Soccer, Swimming, Triathlon and Rugby, with additional opportunities through the Academic Challenge and Enrichment Program (ACES), the Music Program, the Vocational Education Program and the Arts Program.
The RoleDarling Range SC, an Independent Public School, is seeking an innovative and enthusiastic HASS Teacher who can inspire students to engage in curriculum, strive for excellence and be proactive in improving student outcomes. The successful applicant should possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver high‑quality curriculum and programs within the HASS learning area. They should ideally have experience in the Senior School and be flexible and adaptive to differentiated instruction and explicit teaching. Experience teaching Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) Psychology and/or Certificate III and IV Business would be advantageous. A major focus of the College is the implementation of Explicit Instruction (EI). Knowledge or completion of Classroom Management Strategies (CMS) and Instructional Strategies (IS) workshops would be highly desirable.
