We are looking for a results-driven Account Manager who has experience in e-commerce and interiors/home décor to join our team and shape the future of our brand Reporting to the E-Commerce & Marketing Manager, this role is about kicking goals and implementing our digital sales strategy where you'll be working on customer acquisition activities, maintaining current customer relationships building our brand online and ensuring we are delivering our monthly revenue targets.
The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current customers in order to aid customers in their success using our product. This will be done by developing an appropriate level of communication with clients and internal team members to better understand and mitigate any issues the customers may face.
Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management & Support
Execution of tailored sales plans for ecommerce partners, with the goal of accelerating revenue, expanding market reach, and strengthening brand loyalty. Cultivate strong, collaborative partnerships with category managers and key contacts within customer organisations. Assist customers with any issues and providing tracking information for customers and book in returns where necessary.
Sales Strategy Development
Support the E-commerce Manager in crafting and rolling out strategic initiatives to boost online sales and meet revenue objectives. Identify new digital market opportunities and build strategic alliances with top-tier online retailers. Create JBPs that target significant, shared growth through digital execution.
Digital Execution
Partner with the marketing to deliver successful new product launches with strong online visibility. Plan and implement promotional campaigns that align with marketing initiatives and retailer calendars. Contribute to national promotions and online channel activities by working closely with the E-commerce Manager to drive effective digital campaigns.
New Business Development
Collaborate with the E-commerce Manager to identify and engage with up-and-coming ecommerce players. Lead the negotiation of viable trading terms and support onboarding processes that drive consistent sales growth and long-term partnerships.
Ecommerce Expertise
Stay informed on the latest digital and ecommerce trends to shape and drive the ecommerce strategy. Share expertise with both internal teams and external partners to help strengthen our market position and competitiveness.
Product Knowledge
Develop a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings and industry developments to clearly articulate product value to customers and enhance sales conversations.
Reporting & Analytics
Track and evaluate ecommerce sales performance using both internal and external data sources. Prepare insightful reports and deliver performance analysis to the E-commerce Manager to inform strategic decisions.
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous account management experience. Ability to relate to clients and manage a number of client relationships.
- A minimum of 1 year working within an eCommerce environment (Experience with Shopify is a big advantage).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel including: Index/match, vlookup etc.
- Experience prospecting, qualifying, and cold-calling companies
