
Emergency Department Coordinator

About Knox Private Hospital, we're seeking a dedicated Administration Officer to join our team in the Emergency Department.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in an acute patient-focused healthcare facility/hospital.
Responsibilities include greeting all customers, handling inquiries with a friendly and professional manner, answering and redirecting calls, preparing admission paperwork, performing Health Fund Checks as required, managing the collection of Emergency Department deposits, Health fund Excess/co-payments and out-of-pocket fees, coordinating with staff from other departments, maintaining accurate and timely patient information data collection and processing of medical records, and experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Greeting all customers
- Handling inquiries with a friendly and professional manner
- Answering and redirecting calls
- Preparing admission paperwork
- Performing Health Fund Checks as required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Managing the collection of Emergency Department deposits, Health fund Excess/co-payments and out-of-pocket fees
