About The Role

The Office Coordinator will perform clerical duties to assist in the efficient functioning of Acute Services, including liaising with patients, visitors, and medical staff. Responsibilities include:

  • Collating documentation reflecting roster changes, such as medical certificates and study information, and forwarding to Payroll in a timely manner
  • Ensuring documentation meets legal, professional, and organisational standards
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
  • Collecting and collating data and statistics as required
  • Enhancing skills, knowledge, and competencies relevant to the role
  • Supporting ward clerks in the inpatient unit as needed
  • Updating and entering information into RosterOn daily to meet Day Lock requirements

About You

  • Knowledge of Acute Services including Inpatient Unit, Oncology, Midwifery, and Urgent Care Centre
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritise, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
  • Profound knowledge of RosterOn
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to liaise across all areas of EGHS and relate positively to a wide range of people
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe software

Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance and current satisfactory Employment Checks (Police, Working With Children, NDIS Worker Screening).
