About The Role
The Office Coordinator will perform clerical duties to assist in the efficient functioning of Acute Services, including liaising with patients, visitors, and medical staff. Responsibilities include:
- Collating documentation reflecting roster changes, such as medical certificates and study information, and forwarding to Payroll in a timely manner
- Ensuring documentation meets legal, professional, and organisational standards
- Maintaining strict confidentiality
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
- Collecting and collating data and statistics as required
- Enhancing skills, knowledge, and competencies relevant to the role
- Supporting ward clerks in the inpatient unit as needed
- Updating and entering information into RosterOn daily to meet Day Lock requirements
About You
- Knowledge of Acute Services including Inpatient Unit, Oncology, Midwifery, and Urgent Care Centre
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills
- Ability to prioritise, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
- Profound knowledge of RosterOn
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to liaise across all areas of EGHS and relate positively to a wide range of people
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe software
