Salary: Clerk Grade 7/8 $113,574 to $125,720 per annum.
The Senior Communications Officer has a key role in planning and delivering NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) communications activities across a range of channels and audiences. The role works in close collaboration with different business areas within the Department of Communities and Justice.
What You'll Do- Reporting to the Communications Manager, you will play a key role in producing and managing online content for NCAT's website, staff intranet, and social media platforms.
- You will also support internal communications and lead projects that contribute to NCAT's strategic objectives and service delivery to government and other stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain engaging, accessible content for NCAT's website and staff intranet.
- Coordinate NCAT's social media accounts and web portals, ensuring compliance with Departmental standards.
- Contribute to communication strategies and initiatives that promote employee engagement and reinforce NCAT's values and culture.
- Lead and support communication projects and programs, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Maintain effective records and information systems, including supporting database management and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with NCAT's strategic goals.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience and relevant skills in developing creative and engaging online content, through social media, websites, apps etc.
- Ability to implement communication strategies and activities for a variety of traditional and digital channels to support business operations and service delivery teams.
- Experience building and maintaining strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders and providing trusted communications advice and guidance.
- Demonstrated understanding of internal and external communication in a large organisation or government sector.
- Tertiary qualification in communications and/or equivalent experience in communications.
