Position Overview

The Coordinator Tree Maintenance will oversee the daily operations related to the maintenance of Council-owned trees. This position involves leading a team, managing contractors, and collaborating with volunteers to ensure effective service delivery.

You will set clear performance goals, provide guidance and support to team members, and maintain compliance with safety and legislative requirements. Your expertise will play a key role in enhancing our tree management practices.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a knowledgeable professional with a background in arboriculture and experience in managing tree maintenance activities. If you are organised, safety-conscious, and possess strong leadership skills, we would like to hear from you.

  • Diploma in Arboriculture or relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in urban tree management and safety oversight.
  • Strong contract management and budgeting skills.
  • Effective communication and team leadership abilities.

  • Package : $107,479 - $119,782 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation. In addition, a vehicle allowance of $10,780 will be offered. (Salary will be determined based on the skills and experience of the successful candidate)
  • Hours of work : Permanent Full Time. 38 hours per week, 9-day fortnight
