Tree Care Professionals Wanted

We are seeking skilled and experienced individuals to join our team as Truck Drivers in the Tree Maintenance Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate Council plant and equipment, focusing on MR truck operation for tree maintenance, including transporting equipment, supplies, and debris.
  • Work with a team of professionals on tasks such as gardening, pruning, tree removals, lifting, raking, planting, watering, and pest/disease control.
  • Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely project completion.
  • Prioritize safety by following protocols and using PPE, performing routine maintenance checks on equipment.

Requirements:

  • Class MR Driver's Licence.
  • White Card (General Construction Induction Training).
  • Willingness to obtain relevant qualifications such as Certificate II in Horticulture, Traffic Control Cards, Chainsaw operation, Chemical Accreditation (desirable).
  • Proven truck driving experience, preferably in the tree care industry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and effective prioritization.

In accordance with Work Health and Safety legislation, the successful applicant must be vaccinated for Hepatitis B and provide evidence of vaccination.
