Job Role: Arborist Coordinator

This position involves overseeing daily operations related to Council-owned trees.

Responsibilities include leading a team, managing contractors, and collaborating with volunteers to ensure effective service delivery.

You will set clear performance goals, provide guidance and support to team members, and maintain compliance with safety and legislative requirements.

Your expertise will play a key role in enhancing our tree management practices.

Lead a dedicated team focused on tree maintenance and enhancement.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Build strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders to achieve common goals.

Contribute to a safety-first culture within the team by adhering to all relevant regulations and best practices.

We are seeking a knowledgeable professional with a background in arboriculture and experience in managing tree maintenance activities.

Candidates should possess:

• Organisational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Safety consciousness to prevent accidents and injuries
• Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide team members

Diploma in Arboriculture or relevant industry experience is required. Experience in urban tree management and safety oversight is highly desirable.
