Dispatch Coordinator

Orrcon Steel Distribution is looking for a Dispatch Coordinator to join the Northgate team. Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally recognised brands.

As a dispatch coordinator, you will plan, co-ordinate and control the dispatch of our products, both incoming and outgoing, ensuring high levels of customer service are met. You will be interacting with cross-functional teams including operations, supply chain and sales.

This role is a full-time role working Monday-Friday, working 5am-1pm. Enjoy a competitive remuneration package including our profit share program (annual bonus). In This Critical Role You Will Be Responsible For

• planning, coordinating and controlling inbound and outbound stock movement at the Northgate site
• leading and controlling inventory integrity within the site warehouse and ensuring accuracy of stock holding at all times
• accurate data entry in dispatching orders and expediting for incoming orders
• liaising with customer service, sales and operations teams, along with third-party transport providers
• upholding the high safety standards of the site predominantly with issues related to transportation, Chain of Responsibility and Load restraint compliance

We are on the lookout for a dedicated team player who has the following:

• high levels of attention to detail and ability to adapt in a fast paced environment
• knowledge and experience of MS Office, SAP, WMS or similar ERP systems
• effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration with departments and teams
• a positive attitude and willingness to work within the team
