Dispatch Officer – Full Time | Immediate Start

Location: Hemmant Qld 4174

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Dispatch Officer to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is based on-site and plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth coordination of driver allocations and the timely delivery of sensitive biological materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate drivers jobs using our custom dispatch app
  • Ensure all shipments meet airline and IATA compliance standards
  • Assist drivers with repacking shipments to meet airline cutoff times
  • Maintain accurate stock control Australia wide
  • Perform general warehouse and administrative duties as required
  • Complete, precise and timely data entry

Essential Skills & Experience

To thrive in this role, you must be:

  • Highly computer literate, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Extremely knowledgeable of Brisbane suburbs, including key locations across the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast (especially hospitals, universities, and airports)

  • Please do not apply if you do not have strong, extensive knowledge of Brisbane suburbs. This is essential for successful driver job allocations

  • Exceptional attention to detail and focus

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to interpret and apply compliance requirements
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Valid car license
  • Previous experience in courier dispatch or logistics is preferred; however, training will be provided to the right candidate.
