James QLD Glass Products Operations, located in Eagle Farm and Narangba, is looking for an experienced Dispatch Manager to join our team.
In this role, you will provide leadership, direction, and support to the already established Dispatch team while ensuring the timely delivery and high level of service to our valued customers.
You will also play a key role in developing and growing the team to achieve operational excellence.
Responsibilities Oversee dispatch operations, provide strong, clear leadership to the team, ensuring effective communication to the dispatch team including loaders and drivers Proactively manage all glass and transport safety requirements, including COR, and basic BFM, loading and restraint standards Work closely with production, sales and customer service to coordinate priorities Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives, driving and motivating the team towards ongoing excellence Qualifications Proven leadership experience of a dispatch/logistics within manufactured products industry (glass industry experience highly regarded)Experience with managing an Internal fleet of trucks / drivers Conduct regular toolbox talks and team meetings to reinforce safety, efficiency, and team expectations Exceptional communication skills with high levels of organisational, planning and attention to detail Demonstrated ability to lead by example and meet agreed KPIs Strong commitment to safety Benefits Full-Time permanent position with immediate start available Health insurance benefits - 7% discount with BUPAAccess to Employee Assistant Program - TELUS Health Free on-site parking Positive safety culture and team environment Career development opportunities across the G.
