About the role

This isn't a pick-and-pack job.  As the Dispatch / Store person at Metal-Tech Industries', you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehousing and distribution activities. This full-time position is based in our Wacol, Queensland facility and involves managing the dispatch of goods, as well as general warehouse and store-keeping duties.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinate with the factory team to ensure production schedules align with dispatch deadlines.
  • Maintain stock accuracy and manage outgoing inventory.
  • Receive and process incoming goods, ensuring proper storage and organisation
  • Assist with the preparation and packaging of outgoing shipments
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to warehouse operations
  • Support the wider logistics team as required

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar dispatch, store or warehouse role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Forklift licence and experience operating warehouse equipment
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Physically fit and comfortable in a hands-on factory environment
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and keen to continually improve systems
