What you'll be doing in this role?

The principal objective of the Case Manager is to support the Family Violence Perpetrator Program through intake and assessment; providing individual case management utilizing the integrated / individual treatment plan to deliver client-directed care.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Process referrals to service utilizing a range of IT systems.
  2. Undertake client assessments of suitability for Family Violence Perpetrator Case Management and/or Men's Behaviour Change Program.
  3. Conduct perpetrator risk assessments for self-harm or harm to others.
  4. Contribute to the sharing of information with internal programs and external service providers, in accordance with relevant legislation.
What we're looking for:
  1. Relevant tertiary degree with substantial experience; or associate diploma level with substantial experience in the relevant service stream; or be willing to undertake further study in the next 5 years to meet minimum qualifications as per Recommendation 209 of The Royal Commission into Family Violence.
  2. A current Victorian Drivers Licence.
  3. A current Working with Children Check (Employee).
