We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Daily Organiser and Administration Support person to join our team. This is a great opportunity offering flexible part-time hours, and remote working arrangements.
The successful person must be available to work up to 0.6 FTE (22.8 hours) across 5 days, including between 7.00 – 9.00am Monday to Friday.
ELTHAM College is an independent co-educational school located in the Nillumbik Shire, on 98 acres, in the northeast of Melbourne. ELTHAM College grows the heart and mind of each child. This role reports to the Head of Teaching Learning and Student Progress and is central to ensuring the smooth operation of the College's daily teaching and learning program, while also contributing to the efficiency of the wider administration functions.
About the RoleThe Daily Organiser and Administration Support is responsible for:
- Coordinating the daily staffing requirements, including timetabling of casual relief teachers and internal coverage.
- Managing staff absences and ensuring timely communication to relevant teams.
- Supporting the smooth running of the school day through effective scheduling and problem-solving.
- Providing administration support to College staff, including preparation of documents, data entry, and correspondence.
- Assisting with event coordination and compliance processes as required.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and approachable manner.
- The capacity to think ahead, problem-solve, and work calmly under pressure.
- Sound computer literacy, with confidence in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database systems.
- Previous experience in a similar school-based administration or scheduling role is desirable.
