We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative to focus on the Australia market Our SDRs work closely with Inside Sales to generate leads and build customer pipelines. This entry-level role offers a clear growth path and training to become a skilled technical sales professional. We seek self-starters with a passion for technology and people.
AS A SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE AT SNOWFLAKE YOU WILL:- Generate appointments through proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management to qualify and market our solutions to potential customers.
- Collaborate with marketing to identify opportunities from leads and set appointments accordingly.
- Utilize strong selling and influencing skills to establish qualified appointments.
- Gain a sufficient understanding of the Snowflake Database to provide high-level introductions.
- Apply sales techniques learned to maximize customer interactions.
- Log, track, and maintain outbound activities.
- Work closely with Sales Directors and participate in customer meetings as needed.
- Attend sales meetings, vendor training, and local trade shows to stay current with technology trends.
- At least 3 years of prospecting experience and a university degree from an accredited institution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong customer communication skills across in-person, phone, and written channels.
- The ability to interact effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
- An understanding of workflow systems and their application to improve customer business processes.
- Capability to deliver formal and informal presentations to staff and clients.
- Ability to prioritize work and adapt efforts based on departmental or business needs.
- Strong PC skills; knowledge of is a plus.
- Effective time management, independence, and self-motivation.
- A proven track record of achievement in roles with significant responsibility.
- Interest in pursuing a career in technology.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- A proactive, independent mindset with a positive attitude.
- Excellent presentation and relationship management skills.
