ROLE EXPECTATIONS :

This role is all about consultative, solutions-based sales and long-term client partnerships. You'll be responsible for :

Driving new business development across the WA regionGrowing revenue through existing customer relationships and upsellingIdentifying opportunities in industries such as cabinet making, joinery, board manufacturing, and boat buildingDesigning tailored machinery solutions for mid–high tier clientsLeading full-cycle sales processes – from lead generation to aftersales serviceDelivering in-person product demos using state-of-the-art machineryMaintaining high standards of customer care, professionalism, and follow-throughManaging all activities via Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM to ensure sales data accuracy

CANDIDATE EXPECTATIONS :

We're looking for someone who not only knows how to sell, but also understands the technical needs of manufacturers. To succeed in this role, you'll need :

A strong track record in capital equipment sales or technical B2B solutionsExisting relationships within relevant industries (cabinetmakers, joiners, engineers, etc.)Ability to deliver tailored, consultative solutions based on client needsExcellent sales acumen and a forward-thinking, proactive approachConfidence managing complex sales cycles and closing high-value dealsStrong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skillsSolid organisational skills and experience maintaining a CRM systemTechnical knowledge of woodworking machinery or a willingness to learn and stay ahead of trends
