Do you live and breathe PowerBI? We're looking for a passionate PowerBI Developer to join Goodstart's Microsoft Fabric Data Re-platforming Project.

In this short-term role, you'll focus on building high-quality semantic models and reports that turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.

Your Impact :

As a PowerBI Developer, your focus will be hands-on : designing, building, and testing semantic models that power reliable, user-friendly reporting. You'll work with legacy SAP BI data to create accurate models, write DAX measures, and deliver visualisations that bring clarity to complex business logic.

Your expertise will ensure Goodstart teams have well-structured, high-performing models and meaningful reports they can trust. By specialising in PowerBI development, you'll help accelerate our migration to Microsoft Fabric and provide the insights that enable smarter, faster decisions across the organisation.

You'll bring to the table :

Essential

Degree qualification in either Information Technology or similar technical capacity, or equivalent work experience5+ years of experience as a PowerBI developer, with a strong focus on semantic model design and buildExperienced in DAX programming, with demonstrated ability to replicate business logic into PowerBI data model functionalityProven track record of working on data migration or reporting transformation projects.Solid understanding of data models supporting reporting tools, with preference to SAP Web IntelligenceProven SQL skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical specificationsDemonstrated ability to independently manage deliverables, timelines, and communication with stakeholdersExperience testing and validating data outputs, with attention to data quality and reconciliationExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and build stakeholder trustCurrent QLD Working with Children Check

Desirable

Exposure to Microsoft Fabric and data warehouse environmentsExperience developing PowerBI reporting content and dashboardsUnderstanding of KPI frameworks and semantic model documentation practicesFamiliarity with Agile delivery practices and use of Azure DevOps or equivalent project tools
