We are seeking an experienced Database Professional to join our team in a challenging role that involves designing and implementing Microsoft SQL databases, reports and multi-dimensional cubes. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to develop and manage database scripts to convert and fix data within operational databases.

The Database Administrator will prioritise and diagnose incidents according to agreed procedures, investigating causes and escalating unresolved incidents. They will also undertake analysis and prepare proposals for management on matters raised, identifying potential problems and range of solutions and their technical viability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse data requirements and provide advice on potential solutions
  • Evaluate factors and risks that impact on operational processes and strategic direction
  • Develop and implement standards, guidelines, strategies and processes to ensure efficient maintenance and delivery of information technology
