Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, optimization, and commissioning of SQL Server components in accordance with approved operational guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database administration principles and practices, including data modeling, database design, and performance tuning. They will also have excellent technical skills in one or more of the following areas: database administration, PowerShell, TSQL, deployment automation scripts, Octopus, Azure Data Studio, and Continuous Integration build tools and processes.

The Database Administrator will work closely with the IT team to ensure the smooth operation of the enterprise infrastructure and provide high-level technical expertise to provide technical direction, standardization, professional advice, and support.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability in developing and promoting ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident/problem/test/change and configuration management.
  • Demonstrated expertise and technical skills in one or more of the following: database administration, PowerShell, TSQL, deployment automation scripts, Octopus, Azure Data Studio, and Continuous Integration build tools and processes.
  • Experience in other database technologies would be an advantage.

Working Conditions

This position may require participation in on-call arrangements. Appropriate remuneration under the Award will apply.
