Assistant Property Services Manager

The immediate team consists of 30 team members spread across three floors in the building, who cooperate with over 400 other team members and thousands of volunteers from across the Diocese.

You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal results. Experience in property valuations or the management of land acquisitions, disposals, and capital works projects is considered advantageous.

In the capacity of Assistant Property Services Manager, you will be integral to assisting the Diocesan Property Services Manager with the oversight of maintenance and administration of Diocesan properties. Your contribution will support the preservation of these assets, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold the organisation's mission.

• Supporting the Diocesan Property Services Manager with budgeting and financial planning for property maintenance, including oversight of capital projects.
• Assist with the management and maintenance of Diocesan properties.
• Oversee internal database management systems for the coordination of its non-commercial building maintenance works
• Coordinate property inspections and oversee repair and renovation projects.
• Assist the Diocesan Property Services Manager with preparing recommendations for internal and external approvals.
• Liaise with government departments and local authorities on property-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and property standards.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts.
