Join CBRE as an Assistant Trust Accountant in Brisbane, ensuring compliance and accuracy in trust account activities.

Your role

Responsibilities

  • Supporting and managing financial operations related to CBRE trust accounts.
  • Ensuring trust accounts comply with legislative requirements.
  • Liaising with external auditors and overseeing property transitions.
  • Reviewing monthly bank reconciliations and preparing bank fee recoveries.
  • Assisting in reviewing property trust account balances weekly.
  • Preparing monthly management fee and wages recoveries reconciliations.
  • Performing necessary property financial reporting for stakeholders.
  • Assisting in other tasks as requested.
About you

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or Business.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Superior communication skills for building strong relationships.
  • Previous experience in property or trust accounting is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage priorities.
