The opportunity We are looking for an experienced Accounts Officer to join our national Finance team.
We have a friendly team culture, and our Business Services team is at the core of our success.
The role is fast paced and will suit someone with demonstrated experience processing a high volume of data with strong accuracy.
You'll be busy with:processing of trust account transactions (receipts, payments, PEXA settlements);trust account reconciliations;processing and reconciliation of controlled money in the practice management system;manage trust account records in accordance with statutory requirements;periodic reporting of the trust account, filing, lodgements and liaising with auditors; andtraining of trust processes and accounting program to staff and communications with the wider firm stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have:2+ years' experience preferably within a law firm environment;excellent accuracy with processing volume;strong time management, attention to detail and organisational skills; andexperience with our practice management system (Aderant) is advantageous, plus intermediate skills in Microsoft Office.
