Overview

Our client supplies mineral processing equipment to mines around the world. This full-time role (with our Client) is based in Perth supporting the expansion of their fleet of equipment here in Western Australia. Guided by strong values, the business combines innovation & technology, years of experience and practical output to deliver results for their customers.

Responsibilities
  • Working in close collaboration with the central engineering team and key clients, provide technical support to the sales team to analyse current equipment installations and scope what is required to upgrade to new processing equipment
  • Drive HSE culture and ensure compliance with internal and client systems
  • Investigate equipment faults/failures using root cause analysis methodology
  • Support the equipment workshop with design and efficiency improvements
  • Assist with expansion plans, helping to grow the business, increasing the workshop size and the fleet of in-service machines
Qualifications & Experience
  • Mechanical vibrating equipment experience
  • Experience with Australian Standards for design and construction of minerals processing equipment
  • 5+ years work experience with strong site-engineering focus
  • Knowledge of mining HSE requirements
  • Current "C" class driver's licence and ability to meet RioTinto & BHP medical and induction requirements
  • Mechanical Engineering and Project Management qualifications
  • Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD/Inventor/MicroStation)
