Mechanical Project Engineer - Head Office Kerman Contracting is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join our Head Office team.
This role involves coordinating all technical activities on assigned projects, including planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating Non-Process Infrastructure projects.
Our Benefits: Attractive annual Profit Share Scheme Salary sacrifice on Superannuation Be part of a leading contractor within the industry Your Responsibilities: Assist with preparing designs, drawings, plans, specifications, schedules, and reports for projects, engineered systems, technical equipment, or components.
Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Review drawings to ensure compliance with client specifications and proactively address design issues.
Work with clients, suppliers, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical queries.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure activities are streamlined and projects stay on schedule.
Assist with estimating, scoping, and preparing variation quotations.
Prepare project-specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
Perform other organizational duties as necessary to meet operational needs.
Prioritize safety by following company WHSE policies and participating in safety initiatives.
Qualifications: Degree in Mechanical Engineering.3+ years of experience in the construction industry.
Experience with Auto CAD or similar drawing software is advantageous.
Experience working on multi-discipline projects.
Registered Engineer or Technician is preferred.
