Overview

Our client, a well-established home and community care organisation, is seeking new team members to join their local team in the Maitland region. No experience is required; on-the-job training is provided. You will be paid to attend buddy shifts, regular shifts, and training days.

Responsibilities
  • Visit clients in their homes and support them with services, which may include:
  • Domestic Assistance
  • Shopping trips
  • Personal Care (dressing, showering, grooming, etc)
  • Meal Preparation
  • Transportation
  • To & from Medical Appointments
  • Social Activities
  • Respite
    • Shifts are available Monday to Friday, between 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
    • On-the-job training provided; regular clients and hours; minimum 15 hours a week, up to 30+ hours a week.
    • Flexible days/hours, as long as availability is between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
    Qualifications
    • Have a great attitude
    • Be reliable
    • Willingness to learn and work
    • Ability to pass a National Police Check (we will arrange)
    • Ability to pass and receive a Working with Vulnerable Persons Card (WVPC)
    • Current NSW driver's licence
    • Have a reliable, registered vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
    • Regular availability
    • Australian or New Zealand citizen, or a Permanent resident, allowing access to State Funding for the program
