We have an exciting new opportunity available for an HR Coordinator to join our Opal Australian Paper HR Team at the Maryvale paper mill site in the Latrobe Valley in Victoria.
Reporting to the Head of HR for Maryvale you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Partnering with people leaders and teams at the Maryvale paper mill to assist with hiring for waged roles
- Coordinating and supporting new employee onboarding
- Working with leadership and the HR team to collate and write regular internal communications
- Administering and updating our SuccessFactors HRIS
- Supporting the implementation and ongoing compliance with site Enterprise Agreements
- A qualification in Human Resources and/or Business highly desirable (degree level preferred).
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar capacity within a Human Resources function
- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and programs, with a good understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively as a team and collaborate with others
- The ability to navigate through complexity and ambiguity, maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
