Perth, Western Australia WCO Accountants Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

We are looking for a Tax & Business Accountant to join our professional and friendly team. Our newly renovated office is located in Burswood and is only 10mins walk from Victoria Park or Burswood train stations.

The Role

The role will involve dealing with all entities tax returns and financial statements preparation, bookkeeping services, as well as tax planning and advisory.

  • Manage a portfolio of clients and acting as a trusted advisor
  • Prepare income tax returns and financial statements for sole traders, companies, trusts and superannuation funds
  • Providing tax planning and advice to clients
  • Managing a team of accountants - delegating, reviewing work and managing workflow

About You

  • Working towards or fully qualified CPA/CA
  • A self-starter and proactively managing all aspects of the clients' annual compliance obligations
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Can comfortably communicate at all levels and have excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Have exceptional time management skills
  • Have ability to work as part of a team environment as well as the ability to work independently
  • Have high attention to details
  • Experience using Xero XPM, Xero Tax, FYI Documents Management system and bookkeeping cloud-based applications is preferred.
  • Have public practice accounting career history
  • Positive can do attitude

To be successful in this fulltime role, you will need to have a minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting within Australia, with a focus on business services.

Salary commensurate with knowledge and experience.
